TYPICALLITALY Group SA marked a turning point by organising its first event on its own premises.
And what a success it was !
TYPICAL Taste Summit has established itself as the must-attend event for pizzaiolos, chefs and lovers of Italian cuisine in French-speaking Switzerland this year.
The culinary demonstrations were simply breathtaking :
Filippo Rosato from Molini Ambrosio and Andrea Filizolla from Restaurant 1037 impressed with their pizzas made with La Pizza flours obtained from a rigorous selection of wheat varieties.
Vincenzo Giordano from Mama&Zita delighted the audience with his fresh pasta, respecting regional traditions.
Giuseppe Maglione from Daniele Gourmet unveiled innovative toppings for extraordinary pizzas.
Michele Santamaria from 14 Restaurant delighted the audience with a traditional Neapolitan pizza.
The event also provided an opportunity to unveil TYPICALLITALY Group SA’s sensational new products :
LaMara : the art of milk processing, guaranteeing taste, quality and a controlled supply chain (link).
Corte Salcuni : natural preserves and gourmet creams, born of the land and generous sun of the south, with a passion handed down from generation to generation (link).
100grammi : pasta designed for optimal cooking, bringing out the best in each ingredient while preserving their nutritional properties (link).
And don’t forget TOMOTOMO, the company’s flagship tomato brand, a promise of vitality and inimitable flavour, with no added sugar or preservatives (link).
Participants also had the opportunity to meet and talk directly with some of the suppliers who had travelled from Italy for the occasion :
Gino Formisano transported us to Naples with his Santo Baba liqueur (link).
Nicolò Corvetti from Demetra : innovation in the service of taste, with antipasti, sauces, stews, etc. (link).
Finally, the event also marked the official launch of the Typic Awards 2025. A large number of pizzaiolos have already signed up for this competition, which aims to reward excellence, innovation and creativity in the world of pizza. Each participant had the opportunity to taste exceptional products, unique in Switzerland, while engaging in enriching discussions with suppliers and other participants. The restaurateurs left extremely satisfied with the culinary demonstrations.
