Sustainable Development

Sustainable development is an essential commitment for the future of our planet and our societies.

The 3 pillars of sustainability

Modern businesses adopt a holistic approach that embraces three fundamental pillars : economic, social and environmental. These components form the foundation on which the balance of ethical and responsible growth rests. Recognising this trinity, our mission is to integrate these principles into every facet of our business.

The economic pillar is based on essential needs, market desires and the requirements of our clients. We strive to guarantee the physiological quality of our products by focusing our efforts on client orientation. In a competitive world, sustainable prices and competitiveness are essential. Finally, we advocate transparency and the pursuit of excellence through rigorous and continuous selection.

Inclusion and diversity are at the heart of our social pillar. By integrating diverse cultural perspectives, we enrich our company and our community. Training and skills development are a priority, in particular through collaboration with partners promoting professional integration and reintegration. We also pay close attention to the work-life balance of our employees.

On the environmental front, the fight against food waste takes the form of donations of products with short sell-by dates. We take care of our commercial clients special waste and are working to reduce paper consumption by dematerialising documents and using cutting-edge IT tools.

A living heritage

In 2017, the art of the Neapolitan pizzaiolo was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is recognised that pizzaiolos are a living link for the communities concerned, as this art encourages people to come together and exchange ideas between generations.

TYPICALLITALY Group SA is voluntarily campaigning to safeguard intangible cultural heritage by participating in four of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the international community has set itself for 2030 :

  • SDG 2 : Zero Hunger
  • SDG 4 : Quality education
  • SDG 8 : Decent work and economic growth
  • SDG 11 : Sustainable cities and communities

Our commitment to sustainable development is unwavering. We invite companies and individuals to join us in this collective effort for a sustainable, equitable and prosperous future. Together we can make a difference.
